With ONE word, how do you hope to come out of this quarantine?
"Grateful"
What was the effect of COVID-19 on your routine?
"Since March 15th, I was temporarily laid off at my part-time job as a bartender and awaiting the start of my full-time job for April 14th. No income for 1 month. Time with significant other increased, since he was also temporarily laid off."
What is one realization you’ve had about yourself or the world?
"Being able to stay home quarantined is truly a privilege that many do not have."
What works and doesn’t work while in quarantine? (open-ended)
"It is both easier and harder to live my low-waste lifestyle. I have more time to make food from scratch versus options to buy less packaged goods are limited at the moment ( ie, cannot bring my own containers to restaurants since they are closed or they are not accepting personal containers for take-out ) Living with others that may have different self-isolation or physical distancing standards is proving to be difficult. "
In what ways have you shown self-improvement?
"Appreciating the people I have supporting me and the community during this time. Staying positive and learning new skills. Taking this time to practice empathy and communicate positively with those around me."
If you had to give your “pre-quarantine” self a piece of advice, what would that be?
"Advice to self: Make the best of what you can, and take the rest as it is. "
