With ONE word, how do you hope to come out of this quarantine?
"Excited"
What was the effect of COVID-19 on your routine?
"It has been affected for approximately 1 month thus far.
My school, since mid-March or so, has been remote only. I recently just finished school though and will be starting my internship in early May. My internship is now done remotely as well."
What is one realization you’ve had about yourself or the world?
"Having things to look forward to, (no matter how dinky), is super important to me."
What works and doesn’t work while in quarantine? (open-ended)
"I try to not pressure myself to do stuff that I think is productive and instead do activities simply because I enjoy it. Every night or morning, I think about activities that I can do for the day, so I have something to look forward to and be excited about. On the other hand, I actively forgive myself and not punish myself for not doing these activities that I had in mind. That way, I know that I do these things because I really wanted to, and not because I have some weird obligation in my head that I have to do it."
In what ways have you shown self-improvement?
"Not really. I just give myself more time to do things like catch up on television shows that I’ve been meaning to watch, cook foods that I wanted to make, and exercise more often. It’s been awesome since quarantine started especially because school has been so busy, it feels really nice to slow everything down. "
If you had to give your “pre-quarantine” self a piece of advice, what would that be?
"None."
